In the face of overwhelming scientific research, this move does away with the little our government has in place and leaves a void.

I am a mother. My son deserves a world that is stable and safe. Ignoring the mounting risks both economically and environmentally posed by climate change is not just irresonsible but downright morally reprehensible.

If and when this governement can suggest sound environmental policy that lowers carbon emissions, maybe then we can talk about scrapping this plan. As it stands, you can not do away with cap and trade. The cost is too great as we creep toward irreversible tipping points. This is a knee jerk reaction and you know it.
