I think this is a ridiculous proposal. First of all, it’s up to the city of Toronto itself to govern its own traffic. This is a MAJOR overstep by Premier Ford. Second of all, there is absolutely no proof that removing these bike lanes will move any more people any faster. Every bike off the road is another car. The traffic in Toronto can be fixed better with effective transit, which Metrolinx has failed to deliver!
