Stop climate terrorism. Stop Bill 4!

The world is in the midst of climate change, with mega-storms like Katrina, Sandy, and now Florence and Michael. Loss of life; climate terror. We've had torrential rainfalls where I live (Haliburton) taking the surface off roads and destroying culverts, even though we barely have the funding to cover snowplowing in winter. We have massive forest fires in Alberta, BC, CA and Ontario in the summer threatening the health of Canadians, especially the very young, the elderly, and the fragile. We have water shortages in CA that mean costs of food coming to us from there (avocados, lemons, almonds, to name a few) are escalating at a great rate.

We know climate change is happening. Why on earth would we want to cut back on legislation that helps us fight it?

Ontarians give the government their taxes to pay for what we want. That's what taxes are for. I read that somewhere....

I want a safe and secure place to live that isn't under constant threat from climate events that keep propagating and escalating, as the scientists have been predicting and affirming for years. We've had plenty of warning. Let's start acting on climate terrorism, not backing away from it.
