Cap and Trade may not be the ideal policy to reduce further harm to the environment, but having officially rejected it, the Ontario government is now obligated to come up with an equally effective or better policy to slow climate change. As an Ontario resident and tax-payer, I expect the Provincial government in power to look after our interests, and what is more fundamental than the elements we all share? Please respect and represent our fundamental interests, our children's fundamental interests, our grandchildren's fundamental interests and so on, for seven + generations. Use all the innovative and creative minds accessible to you to develop a potentially more impactful initiative that meets or exceeds the goals of the Cap and Trade program.
