I'm a Canadian, living in the US. When I tell people here that I'm Canadian they invariably express an interesting combination of envy and admiration. Canada is thought of as an oasis of sanity, decency.
Living with the current president is really, really hard for so many people. It's painful to see Ontario following in Trump's footsteps. Walking Backward. Eliminating cap and trade , gutting Ontario's climate change program, these are backward steps. Steps that will score some political points with some people, at the cost of our children's and grandchildren's safety and well-being. Ontario's leadership in this area is important. I hope that somehow this decision is reversed.
