Getting bikes off the road and onto bike lanes reduces congestion and saves lives. This proposed legislation will not reduce gridlock as cyclists. Cyclists aren't even allowed on the 400 series highways where the worse gridlock occurs. Investing in alternative forms of transportation such as public transportation and cycling infrastructure will get cars off the road and reduce gridlock.
