This is both flagrant overreach by the provincial government, as well as a just stupid plan. We need to be actively promoting people to stop driving and this is obviously opposite of that. On top of that this will straight up get people killed. Sooner or later a cyclist will get hit by a car they wouldn't have if they had a designated lane.
Both the provincial government and cyclists should stay in their lane.
