Please do not end the cap and trade program. This is a backwards step in fighting climate change. The IPCC report released this week details the need for immediate strong action to prevent the catastrophic effects of climate change. The consensus is in, action is required. The necessary actions will not be easy for consumers or business, they will not be popular but they are necessary and anyone who values the long term prosperity of the planet needs to acknowledge this.
