Regarding the air quality; I have asthma only 4 years after moving within a 5km radius. First question my Dr. asked me was if I lived near the plant (algoma steel.)
I have lost friends to cancer and the first question out if their Drs mouth was “how close to the plant (algoma steel) do you live?”
I am always having to close my windows in my home because of the smells from Algoma steel.
I have a lot of pictures of algoma steel spewing black, grey, white, orange and brown.

According to Buha Kukadia who is a millwright at algoma steel, he said it’s the benzine that Algoma steel is releasing into the air that is killing us.

I’m also aware that wind kicks up particulate matter off the slag dump and disperses is across my community.
Non stop car washes… algoma steel should pay for those.
