I cannot believe that they are allowing another polluting facility to be built so close to the one that has killed and sickened thousands of local workers and residents of Sault Ste. Marie for decades, through air and water pollution, especially when it is directly taking in and releasing water from Lake Superior, a source of water that is so vital, that has already suffered enough damage from irresponsible people and industries not to mention the government, that allows far too high of a toxin count to enter our precious air and water supplies.

The cancer rate in Sault Ste. Marie is many times higher than the rest of the province because of this. The air quality when the wind is in your direction is beyond sickening and is enough to make you gag. Most homes in the west end of the city in the hugely affected areas are covered in permanent brown and yellowish stains and the window sills are covered in new black and brown particulate within a day or two after they've been cleaned.

No further polluting should be allowed especially anywhere near our precious lake superior, at least until they cut back substantially on the travesty of massively over polluting that has already been taking place for decades that has done irreversible damage to the environment and the people that live in it.

It a long sad story, the big money offshore investors buy polluting credits from the crooked government, so they can push out the product at 110% and rake in the Billion$ with no concern for the environment.
