The reasoning behind this highway construction is not based on evidence. Building this highway will increase traffic by the principle of induced demand, and we will end up with more cars stuck in worse traffic. This is not an academic model nor controversial, this is the reality of happens whenever new highways or lanes are build.

The highway will devastate our greenbelt, pave over farmland, pour tonnes of salt into our waterways, pollute our air, release massive amounts of greenhouse gases.

We have a 3 year old at home, please stop trying to destroy his future.
