Have you read the latest UN report on the state of our environment? Get serious about climate change. This is your responsibility as Ministry to the environment. Your proposed Bill 4 is greatly inadequate for the following reasons:

The consultation process for Bill 4 was insufficient
Bill 4 ignores the urgency of climate change
Bill 4 closes Ontario for business to the clean economy
Bill 4 gives little detail about a replacement plan
Bill 4 does not contain binding emissions targets
Bill 4 eliminates the most important policy tool: pollution pricing

Even though Doug Ford's party won the Provincial Election, this does not give your party the right to continue to destroy the environment. Getting rid of Cap and Trade, without having another plan in place is irresponsible.
