Eliminating the Cap-and-Trade is irresponsible and is a step backwards in decreasing Ontario's impact on the environment. The government should be putting more policies in place to protect the environment, conserve ecosystems, decrease carbon emissions, and invest in Green energy and industry. By stopping cap-and-trade, the government is making a statement that they do not care about the future, the environment, the people living on this land, or the people who have been advocating for a world where society and the environment can exist and thrive together.
