The UN just released the latest findings about climate change and this is a step backwards. Cap and trade isn't a money grab or detrimental for business, it is a way to avoid polluting the earth and places boundaries on business. These constraints are necessary, otherwise businesses pollute - the air, water, land. Cap and trade is one way to try to reduce our emissions, and Canada should be a leader, and this includes the province of Ontario. We should be encouraging businesses of the future (like manufacturing solar panels for eg). Jobs that should be encouraged in the province should be part of a clean economy. On top of all of this, any legal battle is a waste of taxpayer dollars. I am tired of my tax dollars funding court cases, let's put people to work in clean industries. Anything less shows lack of foresight for ourselves, future generations and sustainable growth.
