Cancelling the climate change mitigation plan is a huge step backwards.
Economics 101 tells us that if there is no price on pollution, companies, governments and individuals will pollute with impunity.
The IPCC and countless other scientists tell us that climate change is real and urgent.
Let us not, as a society, choose to disbelieve or disregard the advice of experts, and base policy on doctrinaire belief and/or political expediency.
Do not cancel the climate mitigation plan!
