I find it reprehensible that the government would cancel this program as hastily as it did without releasing any proper documentation supporting its decision.

Further more, energy efficiency is exceptionally important, especially for those with older houses, such as mine. I’d like to be able to make it as efficient as possible and those incentives were an excellent way to motivate my family into action.

The same could be said for the green vehicle initiative. I had was in the process of trying to purchase a 2019 Nissan Leaf. The $14,000 incentive was an excellent motivator, but the whole cap and trade was canceled so quick, I lucked out.
Now I have purchased nothing and the province has missed out on my tax dollars, registrations and other revenue.
Purchasing a green vehicle also allows people to lessen their leash on fossil fuels and that is something every government in this country should be supporting in many different ways, from education all the way up to rebates.

I cal on this government to reinstate many policies thy were in place before the election. Do not look at the programs of an opposing government as something that should be cancelled because it was your opponents.
Perhaps look at it from the lens of “For the people” and more importantly “For the planet”.
