I believe Bill 4, the Cap and Trade Cancellation Bill, is moving our province in the wrong direction.
As we have so recently heard from the IPCC, we need a quick response to prevent serious damage to the world we live in.
Cap and Trade put a price on carbon to encourage us to stop burning so much fossil fuel and to provide a pool of money to support green initiatives for replacement energy.
Bill 4 is removing one of our best responses and replacing it with nothing.

Please reconsider the wisdom of cancelling Cap and Trade or come up with a good solid plan to deliver carbon reduction in as effective a way as Cap and Trade.
