I do not have any children…

I do not have any children of my own, but ten months ago I became an aunt, and my little nephew now represents to me all the children who will inherit the Earth our generation will leave behind. Since I read about the IPCC climate report this week, I have had trouble sleeping. My heart is clenched with fear that we as Ontarians, as Canadians, as humanity, will not have the courage and foresight to do the hard work it will take to protect our future. Please do not cancel the work that has already been done. Please, please put our children's tomorrow ahead of saving a few cents today.
