the idea of limiting bike lanes - any bike lanes, but especially already installed. ones - is idiotic.
I am currently in Germany where I marvel at the density of the bike lane network, how much they are used AND (most important) how well bikes and cars And pedestrians interact.
bike use here is HUGE.
And it is undoubtedly a function of "if you build it they will come"
it would be asinine to reduce the number of bike lanes
not only ate they smart for mixed use travel
But I also feel 1000x safer using a bike lane
