Please. Please. I beg the current Ontario government to reconsider repealing the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act.

We need bold action to save our way of life, to protect future generations, and perhaps even my own (I'm in my 20s) from the disastrous effects of climate change. Although I'm not completely happy with cap and trade/the act I mention above (I find them to be not bold enough), they are stepping stones, and ones that work within our economic system.

We need to reverse trends, sacrifice, and change how we operate. I am willing to sacrifice my standard of living to do this, as are many Ontarians. So please reconsider Bill 4. Don't pass it. We need to set a standard others will follow. We need to sacrifice. It can't all be dollars and cents. Our future depends on it.
