Although the cap and trade program has not been perfect the proposed bill 4 is far too weak on greenhouse emissions. We need stronger regulations now more than ever and a government that is willing to make the hard decisions to tackle climate change, especially in light of the new Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report findings. We need a plan to become carbon neutral in Ontario as early as possible and bill 4 fails to do that.

Ontario should invest in a green future (electric transportation, reduction in greenhouse emissions, methods to reduce the provinces to reduce the carbon footprint) now and get ahead of the curve.
