Environmental assessments…

Environmental assessments exist for a good reason. Proposal: if building an idiotic highway nobody wants across multiple provincially significant wetlands causes the process to be bogged down in environmental assessments, maybe don't build it. Heck, any project being bogged down in environmental assessments should be an indication that it's not the best idea.

Nobody wants this highway except for Ford's developer cronies. It is a clear conflict of interest and merits RCMP investigation for government corruption. The environmental assessments should remain in place, and if anything be strengthened so these wetlands and the vulnerable species they are home to can remain safe.
