I encourage you to extend the moratorium on new or increasing permits to take water. Far too much of our groundwater in this area (Guelph/Wellington County) is going to companies who sell the water out of this watershed rather than leaving it for the use of people who live here. Also, they contaminate our environment with their extravagant use of plastic bottles. Water is quite capable of coming from taps.
