The 401 is not just North America’s busiest highway; it is also the widest in several areas. Rushing to increase highway spending and construction will only exacerbate our traffic issues.

Investing this money in our rail network, on the other hand, would generate jobs, position the province as a leader in transportation innovation, and provide a sustainable long-term solution to congestion.
