We do not need to build more highways faster.

We have Highways going where people live in Ontario, if the volume is an issue, we should be focusing on improving other modes of transit - there should be transit to move more people. We should focus on improving bus route speed / coverage / frequency, and also improving railways.

The population is growing very fast, and it's not sustainable to expect people to travel places in their own automobiles.

We are in an environmental crisis, and adding more infrastructure for automobiles is a terrible thing for the environment. We should definitely not be building this through the green belt.
