I do not support water…

I do not support water bottling companies taking from ground water to turn into bottled water especially if those bottles are made of plastic - it’s wasteful in terms of the energy spent in their facilities + the trucks sent to deliver them, as well as the bottles themselves if they are plastic. Plastic water bottles should be banned, they’re toxic for our body and the environment - this is an imminent threat that must be dealt with immediately. People should prepare themselves before leaving the house by taking faucet water in a reusable container, or water bottles should be offered only in glass. Widespread, reliable public water stations would also be great, for use with reusable containers. Money and the economy is important in our current system, however our shortsightedness and greed has led to a world under destruction and the government is best positioned to regulate the harmful activities of business. We need the government to step up and step in by doing the right thing and banning plastics including water bottles and putting a stop to unsustainable practices. Save the ground water for local communities and municipal services. Too much waste and greed occurring.
