This is ridiculous, adding red tape and bureaucracy in the face of progress. More choice in our modes of transportation is never a bad thing. Passing this would be an absolute shame and disgrace. Has anyone even considered the safety of cyclists? We wouldn't make it so that the province had to approve every time a municipality wanted to build a sidewalk, why are we doing it with bike lanes?
