I feel that water is a right…

I feel that water is a right, not a commodity. I do not think corporations should be paying a pittance for our groundwater and then selling it back to us at a massive profit for them. I would cancel all such permits as soon as possible.
I have a cottage on a lake in Ontario where the water is not drinkable without purification. I get water from the local volunteer firestation in my own container, make a donation which goes to the local volunteer firestation for upgrading their equipment. That makes sense.
There is a need for bottled water in rural areas where wells run dry or water is polluted so encourage bulk bottled water from sources in Ontario other than groundwater.
Ban individual plastic bottles that are polluting our oceans.
