Hello,
I am writing in regards to the terrible containers that are aligning the Hwy 400 and other Hwy's leading up north. I've even noticed on Hwy 115, 26 and 35.
As a citizen of Ontario, I especially like to look at the leaves changing in the fall. As I drive up north, I have been seeing these awful looking containers that is making my drive on the 400 distasteful. These Containers are making along the side of our highways look like a junk yard. I also noticed that they have been increasing.
I've even taken the liberty in asking one of my friends that work for a Outdoor advertising company how this has been affecting her? She tells me that these Container people are just getting away with doing this, that the MTO is not enforcing there own rules. and that the Outdoor companies that are paying fees and are legitimately following the rules are getting messed up by all of this.
This is very disappointing, unfair and wrong. I will also be writing into my local MP about this disturbing news. I expect that you folks will be getting rid of these terrible eye sores on Ontario's hwys.
Thank you for listening. I hope that during your discussion on the subject of these container signs, that you choose to remove them from the various hwys that they are popping up on.
