Bike lanes save lives, help local businesses, and build healthier, more connected communities. They need to be prioritized in cities. This proposal is irresponsible, wasteful and flies in the face of everything we should be doing to address our traffic problems and accommodate for the increasing density of major cities like Toronto. It’s incredibly frustrating to see such backwards thinking from our provincial government.
