Proposal 2, I would support, simply because our family never really saw the point in having the option to claim a tag up to last day of hunting season. An earlier date for second chance definitely seems reasonable. I see no point in penalizing hunters by resetting their points and risk having more dropping the activity all together. At last, I’ve always believed in the Quebec system. 2 hunters per moose, bulls legal every year and cows and calves every second year. Their population seems pretty healthy. And their season opens earlier to boot.
