I support the us of third party advertising along our provincial highways. Use of this signage would provide significant assistance to businesses and groups along these highways who wish to attract commuters travelling along these roadways. It would also be optimal for the use of digital signs to be permitted rather than just static signs. This kind of signage is a very effective way to communicate with commuters who travel along the highways. The digital signs, rather than create challenges, would actually reduce signage clutter. The absence of residential dwelling in the locations along the provincial highways would be a clear benefit. In order to achieve these objectives there would be a need to adjust the 400 meter rule currently in place. In summation, I support changes that would permit these needed changes to the provincial sign policies.
