There is no rational reason to close down a renewable energy project in an era where fossil fuels are rapidly being depleted and causing pollution that harms human health and the longevity of the species. Governments should be investing in projects like this, not tearing them down. We need more clean energy, less fossil fuels, less pollution, fewer subsidies to a dying industry, and more investment into the technologies that will fuel our future.
