If the Ontario Government was actually concerned about traffic congestion, then more effective and safe bike lanes are the most efficient and cheapest way to do so. If the Ontario Government doesn’t understand that forcing people off bikes into cars will most certainly increase congestion and grid lock, then they have no business interfering in municipal policy and initiatives. This government has zero understanding of actual effective urban solutions for Torontonians.
