I feel that there are certain places where advertising along the highways would be fine, and other places where it really doesn't belong.

For example, it would be a shame to add billboards to beautiful rural highways and scenic drives.

However, I don't see a problem with ads along suburban stretches of highway that tend to be full of bland concrete or commercial buildings. The QEW or Highway 427 are examples of what I am talking about.

But anywhere where the ads would block views of farmers' fields, forests, vineyards or other scenic or natural surroundings, I say no way!
