Bike lanes are essential infrastructure in Toronto and provide a safe way for people to travel around the city. It makes no sense to remove existing bike lanes and prevent the construction of new and planned bike lanes. If this bill goes forward, it will be putting cyclists at risk of serious injury and death. Six cyclists have died n the roads this year, we cannot put the lives of Ontarians at greater risk.
