At the risk of sounding like a NIMBY-ist, I think it's important to preserve what public views we do have along our transportation corridors. It's easy to say, "Well who cares, it's just empty space." But once space is given over it's gone, and I for one would prefer to look at trees and greenery than distracting advertisements for empty products and services.
