We need more and better planned bike lanes in our community of Etobicoke! Planning should focus first on people and certainly not on the needs of commuters who pass through our community in a car. Integrated transportation systems for transit (bus & subway), pedestrians, and yes bicycles.
I would urge all involved in this matter to read the book Street Fight by a former commissioner of transportation in New York to learn how communities can be transformed and improved.
