Removing bike lanes is the wrong thing to do. The best way to reduce traffic congestion is to discourage unnecessary car use. Make the city accessible by making cycling and public transportation easy and pleasant and affordable. Cars pollute and kill. Bicycle use uplifts the health of the public - which we all have to pay for.
