I’m in full agreement of this proposal and I’m very hopeful it will actually be implemented.
Huge thanks to the provincial government for stepping up.
My commute time has increased by about 30min each way (1h every day) due to a combination of Bloor West bike lanes, and Gardner delayed and inefficient restoration. It’s all less time with work and family.
Specifically on Bloor west bike lanes:
- they are very poorly used
- they are unnecessary (I’m a cyclist and don’t need them to cycle around)
- they are very ugly
- they are dangerous (as a driver you can’t see properly if a bike is coming because you have parked cars covering the view)
