As the threat of climate change becomes more prominent (as experienced through the serious floods this summer), it is imperative that the governments thinks very carefully how their projects are built and what assessments are done. Therefore, I urge the government to ensure that proper assessments are done in regards of this project. Our natural resources are our gold and diamonds, and should be protected, so that the current and future populations could worry less about negative effects of the eroding environment.

In order to have a good relationship with the general public, the government should be transparent about the costs and risks that are carried within this project. Additionally, it would be better to invest in public transportation instead as it is really one of the better ways to reduce the traffic congestion (and it carries environmental benefits too). I do not believe that this project will solve the current gridlock issues; if fact, it might make them worse by encouraging more people to drive.
