Based on current wording of O.Reg. 406/19, it is understood that if any part of the project area is an enhanced investigation area, then the entire project area is treated like an enhanced investigation project area. For long linear project areas where only a small portion of the project area has an enhanced investigation project area use, the Section 8 and Schedule 2 registry exemptions do not apply even though there are largely low risk soils in the area. Can EIPAs be separated out from other parts of the project area?
