At other Campus of Cares,…

At other Campus of Cares, specifically Mon Sheong Foundation's other campus of care e.g. Markham, there is no inclusion of "Apartment Use". Why do they need "Apartment Use" here? They are already zoned for long-term care and seniors care facilities. Is there something else going on here? The old switcharoo? Why are they not going through the municipality? The Town has approved zoning for another Campus of Care very quickly, Schlegel Villages. This request is not warranted. There is already Official Plan and Zoning policies for these lands. It would be a simple zoning by-law amendment. This is just merely a way for the Province to take away from a more meaningful public and municipal planning process which would be considerate of the recent Official Plan Amendment approved by the Town and the lengthy public process it already endured. Why isn't the province asking these questions? Why is this being supported by the Ministry? Why isn't it being supported by the local politicians?
