This is truly sad, that the environment is not a priority over the profits of a waste company. This could lead to much more costly issues in the future, in terms of health care, and disasters that may occur, such as flooding, if the ecosystem of our river changes and run-off/erosion becomes an issue. This seems like a quid pro quo deal with the PCs. You can be assured I will be writing to the premier and our MPP to express my concern with their lack of regard for the environment, and the health and lives of the very people who voted for them. Dresden is a great community that deserves not to be lied to and to be kept safe. The tariff excuse is likely a convenient scapegoat for a deal that was already done. DO BETTER! BE BETTER!
