Dear Premier Ford,
Ontario is renowned for its pristine natural areas and it is appalling that your government would want to change that for the worse. Ontario, and Canada as a whole to a degree already does not care for our wildlife enough, with poaching and polution rampant in our forests and rivers.
We should be using our best judgement in the stewardship of our planet, instead of turning a blind eye in the sole interest of profit. Already too many of our native species are being decimated due to changes to migratory areas, and the eliminaton of connected, healthy natural forests, polution and redirection of our rivers, and other unnatural elements introduced by man for our own inferests.
Mother nature relies on earth's most advanced creatures, us homo sapians, to protect all creatures small and large alike, yet we somehow manage to torture, slaughter, and eliminate those most fragile. Many examples are listed on the website I have shared.
Mother Nature is starting to take notice, punishing us with progressively more extreme weather resulting only from our own actions, not those of the creatures who can't speak, or make laws.
Please protect our natural resources, don't sell them off to the lowest bidder.
Thank you for your time.
