Please don't unleash a dump within 1000m of the town of Dresden.
The dump site that York1 chose also backs onto a tributary of the Sydenham River, which runs through town and is the habitat of many at-risk species.
The site is 1 km from town, putting many residents in the front-row seat of the York1 recycling facility.
The garbage being hauled is not local, it will come from various construction projects in the GTA. Hauling garbage that far (+2hrs one way) is not an environmentally sound choice. There is lots of land along the 401 that is not backing onto a river and is not surrounded by housing, that would be much more suitable.
