First I believe replacing the current Endangered Species act is a terrible idea. This act allows said endangered species to be unharmed and left to repopulate the dwindling numbers. Second, where was this in Doug Ford's platform when he called the election? There was no mention of replacing the original Endangered Species Act
The fact that our government wants to replace this act with a much more watered down version is not surprising, but still incredibly disappointing. I thought our provincial government was suppose to help the citizens of this province, not help wealthy contractors
