This will not only put many of my colleagues out of work, but it will lead to the continual destruction and cultural genocide of our Indegenous peoples. These actions are insufficient to fix our housing crisis while simultaneously continuing in colonial acts that do not benefit the average Canadian. This simply puts a band-aid on preexisting systemic issues that the government refuses to acknowledge and fix while destroying material culture so many have worked so hard to save.
