This bill was created without enough consultation with Indigenous communities or heritage professionals. The opportunity for important archaeological and envoronmental sites to be destroyed without due diligence is concerning. I feel that the correct way to address housing issues is not to take consulting power away from Indigenous communities and environmental professionals, and strongly oppose this bill.
