Our America worshipping Premier wants to destroy Ontario just as the US destroys its environment.

Protecting the environment is done for our common future. Our kids and grand kids will suffer for the foolishness and shortsightedness of policies that damage the ecosystem services we depend on. To remove these ecosystems, by failing to protect them from greedy developers who consider only short term profits and not even the people who may ultimately live in these mythical subdivisions of the future, is a failure of both imagination as well as education.
Better by far to properly regulate the building and real estate industries to eliminate corporate speculation on homes, blind bidding, and forcing developers to actually build their approved projects than to abandon the protections for our environment on which we all depend.
Leave ecosystem protections as they are. Strengthen them instead. People are legitimately afraid of the future that right-wing policies, like this one, are creating. Look to the US for a look at our own future if we persist in this demented race to our own extinction.
